Ky-Mani was born on February 26th, 1976 at Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most popular Reggae artists. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the top single on the British reggae single) and"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the growing recognition of the new reggae of his generation. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to cover Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley was the first performer to appear on stage at Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of musical talent. Marley's performance in the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live to 36 countries through the Caribbean News Agency. Marley became the subject of bidding battles.
