Similar to how there are many who mourn a superstar who died too early, her passing was premature and destroyed a growing career. To stop her achievements from becoming forgotten her many admirers over these past few time have been inspired to achieve more. Selena was the Tejano singer who tragically shot to death in a shooting accident, has sparked the Latino response that could be compared with the response to John Lennon's deaths. A hugely popular Latino musician in North America, Selena's music has touched the lives of many throughout the world. Selena is an edgy and sexy performer. She's often referred to in the media as Latina Madonna. But, she's also an admired role model since off stage Selena has an attitude of family and active participates in anti-drug programs.
