Kim Delaney was an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her character, detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded the Emmy Award. Also, she has appeared in series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. In childhood, Delaney dreamed about becoming an official reporter for the court.
